Certification
GEAO certification is an experience based credential that is focussed
on practical proficiency. However practitioners will also need to
satisfy the knowledge component of the certification program. Enterprise
Architects can only become certified when they have a formal degree of
higher education in a subject related to Enterprise Architecture.
Alternatively, formal courses and certification programs in Enterprise
Architecture may be used as credits towards certification. University courses/degreesGEAO invites institutes of higher education who provide courses and/or degrees in Enterprise Architecture to submit their course summaries to GEAO for incorporation in the Enterprise Architecture certification program. Become an affiliate UniversityMembers of the GEAO certification program are members from business, government, educational institutions, and independent practitioners. They are responsible for the the certification criteria and the criteria are continuously monitored for their relevance to the industry. Universities can become affiliated if their course/degree content is largely beneficial to practicing Enterprise Architects. Please contact certification@geao.org for more information. |
